Pre-Screening Clinic Nurse
This role is a permanent, part-time position in the Pre-Screening Clinic (PSC), where you will provide comprehensive pre-operative nursing history and assessments to patients. You will work with the multi-disciplinary team to identify anomalies that may affect scheduled surgeries and report these findings.
* Receive referrals to PSC, assess, and review them to determine if patients meet criteria for admission;
* Schedule appointments in Meditech scheduler in a timely manner; send correspondence to patients regarding same;
You will also be responsible for liaising with other departments such as physiotherapy, radiology & secretaries to coordinate patient pathways through PSC. Key responsibilities include:
