SAP FICO Consultant – S/4HANA Public Cloud

Job Description:
Our client, a leading organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant to support the implementation of S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver strategic financial systems improvements in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead full-cycle SAP FICO implementations on the S/4HANA Public Cloud platform.
* Translate finance process requirements into functional SAP designs across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
* Guide internal and external stakeholders on SAP best practices and public cloud capabilities.
* Take ownership of delivery timelines, scope, and resource management for finance system projects.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and business users.
* Support pre-sales efforts including solution design and proposal documentation.
* Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist in knowledge transfer across the SAP practice.
* Remain up to date with the latest SAP innovations and trends, particularly within the cloud landscape.
Experience Required
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP FICO.
* Demonstrable experience in delivering SAP projects, ideally within a consultancy or large enterprise environment.
* Strong finance process understanding and ability to align technology with business outcomes.
* Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and fit-to-standard deployment approach.
Desirable Skills
* Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
* SAP certifications in FICO or S/4HANA Public Cloud.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven track record in project leadership and resource management.
Educational Requirements
* Third-level qualification in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* Relevant SAP certifications highly advantageous.
