Our Client are looking for a Field Service Technician to join their team, supporting retail outlets, supermarkets, and independent customers with the servicing, repair, and installation of weighing and food preparation equipment.If you enjoy working hands-on, travelling between sites, and delivering great customer service, this could be a great fit.Key Responsibilities:Repairing, servicing, and installing retail weighing and food preparation equipmentCarrying out breakdown support, preventative maintenance, and software upgradesInstalling new equipment on customer sitesMaintaining accurate service records and completing paperwork/time sheets on timeUsing a company laptop and mobile system in line with company policiesManaging spare parts stock to maximise first-time fix ratesEnsuring all tools, stock, and equipment are kept safe, secure, and quality-checkedIdentifying chargeable work and new business opportunities while on sitePassing potential new business leads to our dealer networkDelivering a high standard of customer satisfaction at all timesProviding basic customer training in-store where requiredComplying with company and customer Health & Safety policiesUndertaking training as required to support business needsExperience:Basic electronic hardware, PC/software, and mechanical skillsA working knowledge of safe electrical working practicesA positive, customer-focused attitudeStrong organisation and time management skillsAbility to work independently while representing the company professionallyFull, clean manual driving licence (essential)What You'll GetCompany carLaptop & mobile phoneCompany workwearPension schemeFully supported 30/60/90-day onboarding programme
