Mechanical Supervisor Dublin Power station.Responsibilities10+ years experience in a construction manager / senior supervisor role, must include power generation / oil and gas projects.5+ years experience in team management (supervisors and craft manloader planning and execution, productivity management, up to 10 supervisors and 100 craft) and weekly reporting to Contracts Manager.Excellent technical knowledge of piping supporting, installation, welding, testing, sloping and handover.Excellent technical knowledge of quality requirements associated with piping installation.Strong knowledge of Navisworks 3D model navigation, isometric drawings and supervisor workpack monitoring.Strong experience in management of project schedule.Commercially aware.Good knowledge of construction health and safety requirements and the implementation of RAMS, SPAs, and other daily / weekly H&S requirements.Background in piping installation with experience in hygienic piping and orbital welding an advantage.Third level qualification in construction / mechanical engineering a distinct advantage.QualificationsLargescale project experience required.Proven experience in supervising mechanical installations in construction or similar sectors.Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage project activities and teams effectively.Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.Power generation / industrial / oil and gas experience.
