Home and Away are recruiting Homecare Assistants (HCAs) to work weekends- in West Cork.
We have opportunities for HCAs to work only on weekends (2days and earn up to €450) or 2 weekdays with a weekend (4days and earn up to €700)
We provide Homecare to vulnerable people of all ages. Our HCAs provide assistance with Personal care, medication prompting, companionship, mobility and transfers, light house hold duties including meal preparation.
Candidates:
* a full clean driver's license and a car (essential)
* at least 1 year of formal work as a Healthcare Assistant in a Homecare, Hospital or Nursing home setting.
* a QQI level 5 qualification in Homecare Support in at least 2 modules - Care Skills and Care of the Elderly or working towards such a qualification, or equivalent such as Pre Nursing or a Nursing Student
* Compassionate, Reliable and Enthusiastic.
* available to work between 20 and 40 hours/week
