Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines Supply Chain Global Planning is recruiting for a Senior Manager MRP Planning in Cork. This role reports to the Director of Cork Site Planning and involves leading high-performing teams focused on manufacturing planning in a biotechnology setting.
You will develop plans supporting supply/demand analysis, conflict resolution, and production decisions. The role requires collaboration across functions, stakeholder management, and continuous process improvement to enhance planning systems and processes.

Overview
The Material Requirements Planning (MRP) team ensures material availability and optimizes inventory, balancing service levels, costs, and inventory health. This role involves close collaboration with multiple partners across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Ensuring material availability and optimal inventory management.
* Aligning operational planning with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
* Maintaining inventory targets and managing raw material distribution.
* Creating reports and simulations for management decision-making.
* Balancing service levels, inventory, and costs.
* Addressing risks, conducting root cause analyses, and managing replenishment strategies.
* Fostering organizational growth and process improvements.
* Collaborating across departments and with suppliers.
* Leading digital transformation initiatives in material planning.
Metrics
* Inventory/DOS, Inventory Health, SLOB, Stock-Out Risks, Plan Attainment
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher; advanced degree preferred.
* At least 8 years of supply chain experience.
* Experience in people leadership and global supply chain planning.
* Manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics background.
* Proficiency with SAP and other planning systems.
* Strong communication, analytical, and financial skills.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
