The role As a Senior Java Developer, you will be a key contributor to bothexisting platformsand an excitinggreenfield project, building new services from the ground up.
This role blends hands-on Java development,microservices design, andtechnical leadershipwithin a collaborative, stakeholder-facing environment.
Your Responsibilities: Design and deliver Java-based solutions, including core components for a new greenfield microservices platform.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of new services, features, and integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, QA, and cross-functional teams to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with architectural standards and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You:5+ years' experience as a Senior Java Developer working with Java/J2 EE and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Batch, Integration).
Strong experience building REST APIs, working with SQL/RDBMS, and using tools such as Maven/Gradle and Git.
Solid understanding of web application security, Linux environments, and Agile delivery.
Practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g.
Git Hub Copilot, Chat GPT) to support the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills with strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement ability.
Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes/Open Shift, Jenkins, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Dev Ops tooling, or financial services systems.
