We are seeking to recruit several Site Supervision Staff for positions within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Candidates with suitable experience and interest in similar positions elsewhere in Ireland can also apply and will be considered for future opportunities.
We are seeking a Resident Engineer (Civil) with 7+ years of relevant experience in site supervision activities.
Desirable skills/attributes:
* Experience in administrating Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Managing Safely in Construction Training.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
* Willing to take responsibility and work well as part of a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:
* Specializing in civil elements of the works.
* Driving project delivery on-site for Uisce Éireann, focusing on health & safety, timelines, cost management, and quality standards.
* Ensuring works are carried out according to contract documents and specifications.
* Monitoring and reporting on works to meet employer’s requirements.
* Keeping all relevant parties informed of site issues.
* Implementing safety policies and standards.
* Reviewing project-specific HSQE documentation (e.g., RAMS, TMP).
* Monitoring compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Conducting weekly health and safety site reviews and ensuring issues are resolved.
* Reporting and assisting with investigations of any incidents.
* Participating in HSQE team inspections and follow-ups.
