Your new company
As Senior Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Analyst, you will join a professional team at one of Ireland’s most reputable independent statutory authorities within Health & Social Care. Your new office is located in either Dublin, Cork or Galway City, depending on your location. You will have a hybrid work model; 1–2 days in the office. Your new company is seeking to hire two Senior HTA Analysts; the duration of the roles varies from 8 to 11 months.
Your new role
As Senior HTA Analyst, you will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing programmes that deliver high-quality health technology assessments, evidence-based advice, and evidence synthesis outputs. Your duties will include leading and contributing to the production of comprehensive HTAs, evidence syntheses, and appraisals; drafting reports; conducting systematic literature reviews; data analysis; representing your company in interactions with healthcare stakeholders; developing peer-reviewed publications; project management; process and policy development; mentoring junior team members; and other ad-hoc duties.
This role offers valuable experience within a reputable Irish public sector organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a degree in health services research, health economics, or a relevant clinical area. A postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Medical Statistics, or related fields is desirable. You should have at least five years of relevant experience in health services research or clinical practice with a substantial research component, including epidemiological analysis, statistical analysis, data analysis, simulation modelling, cost-effectiveness, systematic reviews, etc. Practical experience in evaluating scientific and economic literature, implementing quality assurance, leading teams, and interacting with stakeholders is required. Strong report writing, presentation skills, and clear career achievements in similar environments are essential.
