Job Description:
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in the Water & Process Engineering division. The successful candidate will work on delivering turnkey water and wastewater projects for municipal clients in Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Take full responsibility for delegated tasks and duties on all stages of project delivery from early design through to construction, commissioning and final handover.
* Manage the development of detailed designs and preparation of design submissions to the client.
* Liaise with and coordinate works with internal engineering functions (process, mechanical, electrical, control and automation) as well as external designers and supply chain partners throughout the design development process.
* Assist the Project Manager in the management, monitoring and reporting on project delivery and management of project risks and opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years' relevant post graduate experience preferably working within a design and build contracting environment in the water/wastewater industry.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Attention to detail with strong technical and problem solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships.
* Strong IT skills including competence in Microsoft Office software.
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering is a pre-requisite.
* Post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline would be an advantage.
