We are seeking an experienced Podiatrist to work across our Dublin and Kildare clinics. The role involves taking over an existing busy caseload for annual leave in a Primary Care setting alongside GPs and Physiotherapists. We offer flexibility around your schedule and competitive hourly rates.
This is a contractor position suited for an experienced Podiatrist confident in maintaining a steady caseload.

About the Role
Treat various skin conditions such as verrucas, corns, and calluses.
Assess and treat ingrown toenails, clip toenails, and provide general foot care.
Treat patients with diabetes at increased risk of foot disease who require preventative care and assistance.
Evaluate patient medical history, concerns, and physical examination to determine the condition of their feet, ankles, or lower legs.
Diagnose foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams and other methods.
Provide treatment for foot, ankle, and lower leg ailments, including prescribing orthotics to correct deformities.
Offer advice on foot and ankle care, wellness techniques, and educate patients on improving their conditions.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, exchange information about patient backgrounds and progress, and refer patients to specialists if necessary.
Maintain continuous education requirements and update CPD folders.
Document patient case notes, reports, and statistics; manage payments and issue receipts.
Order stock, log repairs, and supervise student and junior podiatrists when required.
Manage clinical risk, ensure excellent infection control awareness, and prioritize patient-centered care.
Contribute to creating content for social media and marketing channels, and collaborate with the marketing team for feedback.
Requirements
* BSc or MSc in Podiatry (Essential)
* CORU Registration (Essential)
* Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists Ireland (SCPI) Membership (Essential)
* Professional Indemnity Insurance (Essential)
* Private Practice Experience (Preferred)
