Position Details;Role: RSOC OperatorLocation: Dublin 2Schedule: Weekdays and Weekends/ NightsRole Type: Permanent / Full TimePosition Summary:The RSOC Operator services are the first escalation contact when dealing with suspicious activities within the site(e.g. alarms, trespassing, property damage etc.), but also emergency events. They ensure acknowledgement of alarms and begin an immediate dispatch and investigation process. They provide comprehensive monitoring and broad visibility of activity across the facility. Leverage intelligence from several security-related systems and technology databases (including CCTV, access control, radio communications, telecommunications systems, and security systems technology) that provide advanced correlations and analysis capabilities to deliver a prioritised list of actionable security incidents to the security operations team.Principal Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Answering routine and emergency callsMonitoring alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms and duress alarmsProviding general assistance to employees, vendors and guestsEvaluating global incidents that may impact client its offices & people, and escalating accordingly to security management and subsequently to other business unitsThe RSOC operator communicates and disseminates information using established communication vehicles to key partners using best practicesThe RSOC operator takes an active role in position-related projectsThe levels of responsibility will vary from consulting to owning projects based on the individual operatorActs as a liaison between all departmentsManages the access control system alarmsMonitors radio traffic of local and remote sitesEvaluates Travel Notifications and alerts travellers with potential impactChecks to ensure all Access Control, CCTV and other tools are working properlyUses the tools provided to assist in the information gathering and intelligence analysis of researched materialSkills and Qualifications:The following technical, interpersonal and management skills and attributes are essential for this role, but are not limited to:Exposure to access management control systemsExperience in Travel Tracker or a similar platformExperience in NC4 Risk Center or similarKnowledge of Security Systems proceduresPrevious RSOC/SOC/ARC or similar experienceHold current PSACore Management/People Skills and Attributes:Having previous experience of working within the security industry.Having Strong People Management Skills, including previous managerial experience.Being Team-oriented.Being highly motivated, with a positive energy and enthusiasm for the Company, and for the role.Strong leadership skills, which are demonstrated on an ongoing basis, including leading by example.Flexibility and adaptability.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Being able to work effectively on one's own initiative.Being highly organised: Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to deadlines.Having strong attention to detail.Having a proactive approach, constantly seeking improvements in processes and technologies, including sourcing new technologies/work practices as may be required for business improvement from time to time.Being professional and behaving with integrity at all timesPSA Security Licence
