Job Description:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems.
You will analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot EPME equipment problems. Your duties will include:
* Analyzing, diagnosing and troubleshooting all hardware and software issues on state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
* Understanding and implementing factory issued hardware and software upgrades.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings, electrical schematics and P&ID drawings, and utilize these in the resolution of complex system issues.
* Managing and controlling the spare parts that we supply to the customer in support of the CMP Systems business.
* Reporting out to both the onsite customer and local management on weekly basis detailing system performance and ongoing activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) in a technical field with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a HVM environment or an Ordinary Bachelor's Degree (NFQ level 7) in a technical field with a minimum of 1 year experience is required.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software (PLC) systems is desirable.
Must be able to demonstrate effectively and clearly the ability to deliver clear and concise information to both internal and external customers.

This role is 100% onsite therefore you must be based in Ireland. You will be willing to travel internationally for training purposes from time to time as required.
