In the field of mechanical engineering, we are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator. This role is based in Navan, Co. Meath.
We are seeking an individual with strong analytical and numerical skills who can prepare detailed estimates for mechanical engineering works.
This will involve developing accurate estimates based on outline drawings and specifications while ensuring realistic risk assessment and adherence to company guidelines and industry standards.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in mechanical estimating within the water, wastewater or construction sectors.
A proven track record of preparing detailed estimates is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing detailed estimates for mechanical engineering works
* Evaluating buildability, material selection, innovative solutions and cost-effectiveness during design development participation
* Safeguarding all procedures including risk management governance processes compliance
