Your Role And Responsibilities
We are seeking a Visual & Content Design Producer to partner directly with the VP of Platform & PLG Experiences to craft high-impact executive communications, presentations, and consumer-grade content that shape how our strategy is understood and adopted across IBM.
This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, and executive enablement. You will translate complex platform, product-led growth, and systems narratives into clear, compelling, and beautifully crafted visual and written artifacts—ranging from executive presentations and keynote materials to strategic narratives, videos, and internal/external communications.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant visibility, influence, and autonomy. The ideal candidate is both a strong maker and a trusted partner—someone who can work with speed, discretion, and high taste in close collaboration with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership & Storytelling
* Serve as a direct creative partner to the VP of Platform & PLG Experiences, helping shape and deliver executive-level narratives.
* Translate strategy, vision, and ambiguity into clear, persuasive stories for senior leadership, cross-functional partners, and broad IBM audiences.
* Provide proactive guidance on narrative structure, visual clarity, and audience-specific messaging.
Visual & Content Production
* Design and produce high-quality executive presentations (keynotes, board-level decks, leadership updates).
* Create consumer-grade content such as:
* Short-form and long-form presentations
* Visual narratives and storytelling assets
* Videos, motion, or multimedia content (where applicable)
* Strategic one-pagers, internal communications, and launch materials
* Ensure all outputs reflect strong design craft, clarity, and polish while aligning with IBM and Carbon design standards.
Content Strategy & Quality Bar
* Establish and uphold a high quality bar for executive and strategic content across Platform & PLG Experiences.
* Apply strong editorial judgment—knowing what to simplify, what to emphasize, and what to leave out.
* Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and visual language across materials.
Collaboration & Influence
* Partner closely with design, product, engineering, marketing, and communications teams to source inputs and align messaging.
* Work independently with minimal direction, managing multiple fast-moving requests with sound prioritization and judgment.
* Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
