Your new CompanyAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to join a busy architectural firm based in Dublin City Centre. This role is part-time, providing either 3 full days or 4 half-day working weeks. This position also offers hybrid working and is an excellent opportunity to work independently in a busy environment. Your new role
You will be tasked with duties such as :
1. Preparing financial statements for trial balance
2. Balance sheet reconciliations
3. Cashflow management
4. Billing and credit control
5. Payroll processing and reporting including management of staff expenses
6. Budget and forecasting
7. Oversee the AP and AR processes
8. Liaising with external auditors for year-end accounts
9. Preparing monthly VAT returns
Other ad-hoc finance and insurance-related duties as required
What you need to succeed
To be considered, you must have :
10. 5 + years experience in a similar position
11. Part-qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification - either ATI or ACCA
12. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to accurately review data, and report on key metrics to finance and non-finance senior management
14. Data-driven, analytically minded
