Dolan Foods is a long established, progressive and growing sales and distribution company based in Lanesboro, Co Longford.We are seeking a fully Qualified Accountant with 5 years + experience, in a similar business environment, who will work closely with the leadership team to play a key role in the continued growth of the business.All functions of the business are controlled from our head office in Lanesboro, and the successful candidate will be based on site ,in our offices in Lanesboro 5 days per week.We require a progressive multitasker who is detail focused while keeping the bigger picture in view at all times.It is challenging – involving team supervision and all aspects of account preparation, reporting directly to the directors of the business.We have a custom-built IT system but also use Sage 50 as our Accounts Package.The role will involve the following:Ensuring that robust financial controls and reporting are implemented and up to date and accurate at all times.Cost control and identifying cost savings opportunities in all aspects of the businessWorking closely with members of the accounts team to coordinate and oversee debtors/creditors and weekly reconciliation and reporting.Ensuring statutory requirements compliance, for PAYE, VAT, etc.Supporting, managing, and developing the office team, and supporting overall business strategy with the Directors and management team.Insurance ManagementDeveloping and monitoring of KPI's on a weekly basis.You will form part of a closely knit team, focused on delivering excellence on a daily basis.
