Role: Environmental, Health & Safety Lead
We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to take ownership of our day-to-day health, safety, and environmental operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape policy, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of safety across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety functions, ensuring compliance with legislation, certification standards, and company policy.
* Drive continual improvement of safety systems, maintaining Safe-T-Cert and ensuring best-in-class standards.
* Prepare and issue Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safety Statements, and Construction Stage Plans.
* Support subcontractors with safety compliance and integration into company practices.
* Conduct regular site, office, and warehouse inspections and audits, reporting to senior management.
* Deliver internal Health & Safety training to employees, sole traders, and contractors.
* Collaborate with PM and Admin teams to streamline systems via Procore software.
* Support tender submissions with EHS expertise.
* Contribute to setting company safety objectives and KPIs, ensuring realistic, measurable progress.
What We’re Looking For
* Health & Safety Degree or equivalent qualification.
* 2+ years of relevant EHS experience within the construction industry.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office; ISO experience an advantage.
