Offensive Security Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Offensive Security Specialist to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to validate defensive gaps and refine attack paths. This role involves hands-on exploitation, behavioural testing, scripting, and controlled engagement work.
You will be responsible for conducting adversarial exercises, validating findings, performing lateral movement, and developing internal scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct controlled adversarial exercises targeting on-prem, cloud-linked, and containerized workloads.
* Validate and escalate findings from vulnerability and detection tooling, focusing on real exploitability.
* Perform lateral movement, identity abuse, and post-exploitation investigations across mixed environments.
* Develop and maintain internal scripts, payloads, and test modules to support red team operations.
* Map attack paths and collaborate with defensive teams to improve detection clarity and response workflows.
* Assist in designing repeatable adversary emulation scenarios aligned with current threat activity.
* Produce concise technical reporting and support remediation prioritization with engineering stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A strong understanding of network exploitation, identity abuse, and privilege escalation techniques is required. Experience with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages is also necessary.
Certs like CRTO, PNPT, OSCP, or similar offensive certifications are helpful but not required.
