Site Reliability Engineer - Azure | SaaS | Dublin (Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite)
A leading software company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their growing team supporting a complex SaaS platform hosted in Microsoft Azure. This is a traditional SRE role focused on system reliability, performance, monitoring, incident response, and observability.
You'll work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to maintain scalable, high-availability systems and ensure exceptional service reliability for end users.
Responsibilities
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Azure-hosted services
Build and manage robust monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling
Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and incident response
Lead and participate in incident management and post-incident reviews
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
Optimize system performance and capacity through data-driven approaches
Maintain strong security and compliance alignment (e.g., ISO27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
Required Skills
Experience in a SaaS or software product environment is essential
Proven background in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
Strong scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell)
Familiar with monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog
Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD support tools
Skilled in incident response, root cause analysis, and system resilience
Understanding of cloud security and regulatory compliance standards
Nice to Have
Azure certifications (e.g., Administrator, Architect)
Experience in the London Insurance Market
Familiarity with ServiceNow, PagerDuty, or other incident management tools
