Position Summary: This is a working team leader role, as well as working to the highest standards you will be required to: Support, Assist and Deputise for the Warehouse Supervisors in the running of the key areas within the Warehouse operation. Planning and managing a team of operatives to achieve daily workload, KPIs, QA standards and total compliance with all relevant H&S legislation, employment law, EU and company hygiene standards. Coaching and development of team members to deliver the Warehouse expectations.
Responsibilities
* Plan, Co-ordinate and motivate the team to achieve daily output objectives and deliver shift KPIs
* Ensure that staff are correctly utilised to achieve the daily operational requirements
* Ensure the team are trained and competent to carry out tasks and develop a multi-skilled workforce
* Provide SSOW and operational training and coaching to new and existing team members to ensure the standards are delivered and develop a multi skilled workforce.
* Proactively seek solutions to operational problems and resolve queries as they arise, escalate to Supervisor/Warehouse Operations Manager queries that cannot be resolved.
* Ensure warehouse is operating to QA standards for hygiene and tidiness
* Apply a zero tolerance culture to all health and safety issues
* Conduct daily team briefings and provide handovers to ensure operational continuity.
* Deputise for Supervisors as required
