Assist with pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery, including administering medications, treatments, and providing patient education.Provide clear information and emotional support to patients and their families, involving them in care planning and discharge preparation. Work effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings.Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and engage in audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives. Participate in continuous professional development, ward-based teaching, mentoring of students, and induction of new staff.Demonstrate the ability to manage clinical and administrative duties, maintaining accurate records and using electronic health systems effectively.Maintain live NMBI registration, be in good health, and of good character to ensure the ability to provide efficient and regular service.Possess a minimum of three years post-registration experience, including at least one year in surgical or acute care, with involvement in clinical audits or patient safety projects.
