Description
BDO Ireland is seeking a Sales and Marketing Intern to join our successful and expanding R&D Tax Credit and Grant Incentives team.
We are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking high achiever seeking a new challenge in a developing and forward-thinking firm. This internship offers hands-on experience, exposure to a dynamic team, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful marketing and business development initiatives.
This is a full-time, 6-month internship based in our Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the R&D Incentives team with business development activities.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
* Support external sales efforts and help develop sales leads.
* Contribute to pipeline research and generation strategies.
* Assist in the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and digital content.
* Help manage sales systems and track campaign performance.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
* Support planning and logistics for client-facing events and initiatives.
* Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Marketing function.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Currently pursuing a Level 8 degree in Marketing or a related business field, on track for a 2.1 or higher
* Hard-working and enthusiastic team player with a 'can do' attitude.
* Ability to multi-task and a proven record of working to tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail is essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident, outgoing and professional with the flexibility and willingness to become involved in diverse projects.
* Proactive, innovative and self-motivated.
* Ability to think laterally and creatively.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and familiarity with online content platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
