We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our team. This is a vital support role that would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and administrative processes in a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will be confident managing a range of accounting and admin tasks, while providing essential support across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
· Processing supplier invoices and raising purchase orders
· Assisting with bank reconciliations
· Answering and directing incoming calls, responding to email enquiries
· Taking customer payments and reconciling to customer accounts
· Ensuring sales quotations and sales orders are raised correctly before an order leaves the warehouse
· Managing office supplies, post, and general administrative duties
· Supporting management with ad hoc administrative or accounts-related tasks
· Creating sales orders and raising sales invoices for customers
· Following up with customer enquiries
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in an accounts/admin support role is essential
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential)
* Experience using accounting software (Netsuite) is advantageous
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities
* Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
