- Children's Services Hybrid | Wicklow A well-established, multi award-winning children's services provider is seeking a Psychologist to join its growing multidisciplinary team.The service is grounded in strong values, ethical practice and a genuinely family-centred approach, offering children and their families clarity, understanding and practical pathways forward.The clinic places a strong emphasis on collaboration, reflective practice and creating a supportive environment where clinicians feel valued, listened to and professionally fulfilled.The Role The Psychologist will work with children and families as part of a warm, experienced multidisciplinary team.While autism assessment forms a key part of the role, the position is embedded within a service that prioritises thoughtful, ethical practice and positive family experience over volume-driven work.Key Responsibilities
* Completing autism diagnostic assessments with children and young people
* Administration, scoring and interpretation of ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R
* Contributing to multidisciplinary formulation and shared clinical decision-making
* Preparing clear, compassionate and high-quality assessment and diagnostic reports
* Providing feedback to parents and caregivers in a supportive, respectful manner
* Working closely with Occupational Therapists and other clinicians
* Maintaining clinical records in line with PSI and professional standards Hybrid Working This is a hybrid role.On-site attendance is required to conduct assessments with children and families, while remote working is possible for report writing, administration and other non-assessment tasks.The balance of on-site and remote work will support both service delivery and clinician flexibility.
