Operations/Senior Manager Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and optimize all construction operations to ensure safe, timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality project delivery.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee construction activities across multiple regions, ensuring effective planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Drive adoption of modern construction methodologies and technologies.
Manage project scheduling, budgeting, execution, and delivery while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Review and approve project plans, procurement schedules, and progress reports.
Monitor KPIs (cost, time, quality, HSE) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Lead risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies across all projects.
Develop and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance to Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and department leads.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement; conduct performance evaluations and support competency development.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, government agencies, and internal teams; attend meetings, reviews, and site inspections.
Maintain strong relationships with key partners and supply chain stakeholders.
Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting.
Support estimation and tendering teams with operational input.
Manage contract performance, including claims, variations, and commercial risk.
Enforce HSE policies, statutory regulations, and industry standards; ensure closure of non-conformance issues.
Promote a zero-incident safety culture across all sites.
Analyse operational data to implement performance improvements.
Optimize supply chain, logistics, equipment utilization, and labour productivity.
Drive implementation of digital tools such as ERP systems, project management platforms, and BIM.
Operations/Senior Manager Requirements: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
815+ years (Ops Manager) or ****+ years (Ops Director) in construction operations.
Experience managing multiple large-scale commercial, civil, or infrastructure projects.
Strong record in project delivery, cost control, and team leadership.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and contract management.
Proficient with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ERP systems.
Solid understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Strong strategic thinking and organizational planning skills.
Excellent team leadership, motivation, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
High integrity, accountability, and results focus.
