We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Restaurant Supervisor to assist our management team in overseeing daily operations. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the bistro. You will support the General Manager in managing staff, optimizing service delivery, and enhancing the guest experience. This position requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. Lead, motivate, and support team members, providing training and guidance where necessary. Monitor staff performance and manage shift rotas, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Uphold and enforce company policies, service standards, and health & safety regulations. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Support with stock management, including monitoring supplies and assisting with orders. Oversee cash handling, till reconciliation, and adherence to financial procedures. Assist the Restaurant Manager with performance reviews, recruitment, and team development. Act as the first point of contact in the absence of the General Manager. Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a busy restaurant or bistro setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including health and safety regulations.
