We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Lead Solution Engineer to join our Commercial Industries Solution Engineering team, focused on our General Business customer segment.
What is a Lead/Senior Solution Engineer?
Also known as a ‘Presales Consultant’, ‘Sales Consultant’, or ‘Sales Engineer’, the Solution Engineer is responsible for owning solutions throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to transform customer experiences. They work alongside the sales team to create AI, Data, and CRM solutions for prospects and customers, translating business objectives into practical recommendations. The Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor, supporting the customer’s transformational journey and contributing to continuous team improvement and personal growth within Salesforce. Candidates should embody Salesforce’s core values: Trust, Customer Success, Innovation, and Equality.
Your Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions demonstrating business value
* Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle with high-performing teams
* Incorporate industry experience and develop perspectives based on Salesforce solutions
* Articulate benefits of Salesforce to various stakeholders, including IT staff, managers, and executives
* Present Salesforce & partner solutions, supporting customer and partner relationships
* Display initiative, self-motivation, and deliver high-quality results
Personal Attributes/Experience:
* Understand and translate business requirements across multiple industries into compelling visions and roadmaps
* Proven success in solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or training within software organizations
* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
* Effective time management in dynamic environments
* Team-oriented problem solving in energizing settings
* Passionate about technology and knowledge sharing
* Curious, practical, and eager to learn why and how things happen
* Excellent at researching, experimenting, and problem-solving
* Capable of explaining ideas clearly and engaging audiences
* Willing to travel occasionally
* Relevant experience, including extracurricular leadership, military, volunteer, or work roles
