My client, a Galway-based Medical Device organisation, is seeking to hire a Production Support Technician.
This role is suitable for someone with experience in EDM Wiring & CNC Milling.
Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and verify SolidWorks drawings and technical specifications.
2. Collaborate with automation and production teams to optimise part designs.
3. Ensure finished parts meet quality and specification requirements.
4. Operate CNC Milling, EDM Wire Erosion, grinders, lathes, and other tools.
5. Prepare parts for anodizing.
6. Perform daily maintenance of toolroom machinery.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of toolmaking experience.
2. Proficient in 3D CAM software (AutoDesk Fusion) and CNC machinery.
3. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
4. Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
5. Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Craft & Toolmaking.
