About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Site Manager
to oversee the delivery of a large-scale residential development in
Cork
, consisting of over
100 apartment units
. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day site operations for a multi-phase apartment development.
* Coordinate and supervise all site personnel, subcontractors, and trades.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times.
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Design Team.
* Maintain site records including daily diaries, inductions, and delivery logs.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and workmanship standards.
* Chair site meetings and provide regular progress reports.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential projects.
* Proven track record managing multi-unit developments (100+ units ideal).
* Excellent knowledge of Irish building regulations and H&S legislation.
* Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
* Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant site management certifications.
* Degree or diploma in Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
