Job Summary
The role of a Facilities Planner is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities department. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Planner. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in supporting the startup of our first European manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Provide support in scheduling, correspondence management, and record keeping.
2. Budget Preparation and Tracking: Assist in preparing and tracking budgets for facilities-related expenses.
3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) within a regulated environment.
5. Report Generation: Generate reports on maintenance and project progress.
6. Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their requirements.
7. Purchase Orders and Invoicing: Create and manage purchase orders, procure supplies, and process invoices.
8. Service Level Agreements: Develop and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers.
9. Security Measures: Support security measures by issuing employee access cards in coordination with the security team.
10. Work Order Supervision: Supervise work orders and ensure timely completion to quality standards.
11. Documentation: Maintain all facilities-related documentation, including contracts and compliance certificates.
Requirements
1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of relevant experience in facilities administration or planning.
2. Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience managing budgets and contracts.
3. Technical Skills: Experience with purchasing software like Coupa and CMMS systems such as Maximo.
