Primary Job FunctionMaternity Cover(9 Months contract)The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer provides guidance in evaluating, selecting, and supporting strategic SLC methodologies and technologies, with a strong focus on compliance with regulatory expectations. This role prepares and executes IT compliance activities, applies compliance expertise to support projects, and ensures IT validation activities are carried out effectively.The SQA Engineer will also contribute to projects by reviewing SLC documentation (e.g., OQs, Requirements, Trace Matrix), while managing IT compliance activities with oversight from a senior SQA.Core ResponsibilitiesDeliver compliant global validation packages.Work independently with Global IT contacts and business process SMEs.Act as Software QA Lead for IT application validation projects.Drive continuous improvement and provide input into validation strategy for IT changes.Support validation and usage of IT systems within BTS.Propose/approve corrective and preventive actions for deviations or "out of spec" situations.Serve as SME on compliance regulations for IT validation within assigned area.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's degree in Science, IT, or equivalent.Experience:2+ years of validation experience in a healthcare environment.Strong knowledge of IT systems, risk management, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices (Agile, test automation).MES experience a plus.ERP experience is a plus.ALM experience a MUSTSkills:Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across IT management and staff.
