We are seeking an experienced
Contracts Manager (Mechanical)
to join our clients team on a major 200MW Energy Centre project in West Dublin. This is a key leadership role within the delivery team, responsible for managing mechanical contracts from
pre-construction through construction and commissioning
, ensuring programme, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
The role is delivered across
three key project phases:
* Pre-Construction
* Construction
* Commissioning
Delivery of the role is underpinned by
four core project pillars:
* EHS – Health & Safety
* Quality
* Commercial
* Planning
The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical delivery experience, proven design coordination capability, and a solid background
in large-scale energy or heavy industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage mechanical contracts throughout the delivery phase, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and commercial requirements
* Lead design coordination and engineering development, working closely with consultants, designers, and construction teams
* Drive pre-construction integration, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, process, controls, commissioning)
* Support procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and change management
* Ensure full compliance with
EHS (Health & Safety)
, environmental, and
quality
standards
* Monitor project progress,
commercial performance
, cost control,
planning
, and risk management
* Interface with client representatives, stakeholders, and senior project leadership
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Strong experience as a Contracts Manager / Senior Mechanical Manager on large-scale projects
* Proven mechanical delivery-phase experience (essential)
* Demonstrable knowledge of steam systems and large industrial plant
* Experience in design coordination and engineering development
* Proven ability to integrate pre-construction activities within multidisciplinary teams
