Substantive Consultant in Dermatology
5PA Part Time, with potential to increase hours
£111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata
Raigmore Hospital is the principal acute hospital of NHS Highland, which has a catchment area of 12,500 square miles and a population of around 320,000.
Qualifications: You must have full GMC registration and licence to practice and be on the specialist register for Dermatology or be within 6 months of attaining CCT from the date of interview.
Responsibilities: This is a substantive and part-time Dermatology Consultant post offering opportunity for continued practice across a wide range of dermatology conditions including clinics for systemic diseases, routine and cancerous lesions, paediatrics and skin surgery. Other clinical workload includes inpatient referrals and reviews, providing advice and guidance to primary care and administrative virtual clinics.
We aim to maximise clinical, educational and research opportunities across the North of Scotland, working to build ties with other NHS Boards. Provision will also be made to develop sub-specialty interests. The consultants are supported by experienced and flexible management, administrative and secretarial teams.
