Commercial Accountant
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Accountant to join our Commercial team based in Limerick.

Commercial Accountant Profile
* Providing financial insights and support to the business units to drive strategic decision-making and optimising financial performance.
* A strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, auditing/compliance and cost control within a commercial setting.
Responsibilities
* Weekly reporting and monitoring of high-profile projects to include forecasting, cashflow management and margin trend analysis.
* Preparation of weekly revenue reports for distribution to Commercial teams and ensuring monthly revenue targets are achieved.
* Assist in preparation of Dashboard Reports for distribution to Business Unit leadership teams.
* Review in progress projects to ensure planned commercial processes are implemented and information on system is accurate.
* Ensure adherence to Kirby processes through regular audits and reviews.
* Escalation and Reporting - audit and present financial information to senior management in a clear and impactful manner with actionable recommendations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial decisions with overall business objectives.
* Business Automation - presentation and communication skills to drive automated solutions to free up time cross functionally but retain to the integrity of reporting.
* Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial decisions.
* Support & challenge the Commercial, Finance, and Operational teams on information received.
* Support continuous improvement of Kirby procedures.
* Provide expertise and support for commercial aspects of projects.
* Be a support function for the commercial team.
Necessary Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office.
* Experience with Power BI is also beneficial.
