Our Client is a market leader in Ireland for developing, manufacturing and supplying customised precision nutritional solutions. They are looking to attract a Part-time Senior Book-keeper for their business based in Innishannon, Co Cork. The hours will be approximately 20-25 per week with potential to grow. The role can be worked on a hybrid basis once the training is completed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recording day-to-day financial transactions including income, expenditure and expenses.
* Managing Accounts Payable (Supplier Invoices and Payments) and Accounts Receivable (Invoicing Customers).
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Credit Control
* Cash Flow Management
* Managing Company Bank Accounts – Online/Offline
* Payroll Processing. The company operates 2 Payrolls Weekly and Monthly (Sage Payroll).
* Management of Clock-in-System.
* Completion of Monthly Period End Routine on Pegasus Opera 3
* Monthly Bank Reconciliations
* Monthly/Quarterly Management Accounts – Trial Balance/Profit and Loss/Balance Sheet
* Preparation of annual Financial Statements - Trial Balance/Profit and Loss/Balance Sheet.
* Liaising with Auditors in bringing the Annual Financial Statements to completion.
* ROS - Revenue Online Services submissions for Vat Returns, Payroll Returns, Checking PAYE, VIES returns, Intrastat Returns, Corporate Tax Submissions
* Payments where applicable using ROS Debit Instruction (VAT, PAYE and CT)
* Preparation of Employment contacts for new employees if necessary.
* Work with Pension Brokers in relation to existing Pension members and any new members.
Key Requirements
* The successful candidate must have 5+ years experience in a similar role
* Experience with Pegasus Opera 3 and Sage Payroll is required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and to operate effectively in a deadline driven environment
* Experience with ROS submittals is essential
