Job Description
This role involves specifying instrumentation for biopharmaceutical process & utilities systems and supporting all aspects of the site calibration program.
* Evaluate new instrumentation for functional equivalence to existing instrumentation.
* Support the authoring and maintenance of configuration specifications & standards for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation.
* Provide technical guidance to the calibrations operations team.
The Senior/Principal Instrumentation Engineer will work on evaluating and specifying cGMP instrumentation for new installations and upgrades, including instrument components and spare parts.
They will also be responsible for implementing corrective/preventative actions for existing instrumentation and conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex instrumentation and associated systems.
Requirements
A BEng/BS is required, with 5+ years experience for Senior Engineer level and 8+ years experience for Principal Engineer level.
Experience with Biopharmaceutical Process & Utilities systems is preferred.
