Job Description

The Microbiology Administrator will be responsible for:

* Maintaining meticulous documentation and data entry processes to comply with laboratory quality systems.

* Providing professional and courteous communication with customers and internal teams.

* Supporting laboratory efficiency through effective sample management and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

* Logging samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately and efficiently.

* Entering test results and creating comprehensive test reports as required.
">
* Labeling and completing relevant paperwork for samples received in the laboratory.
">
* Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and issues with professionalism.
">
* Liaising with the logistics department to coordinate sample collection schedules.

* Managing the outsourcing of subcontracted testing as necessary.

* Assisting the Finance department with purchase invoice queries and processing sales invoices.

* Utilizing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enhance efficiency in data input and reporting.

* Informing the supervisor of any out-of-specification results promptly.
">
* Performing data trending and analysis to support laboratory operations.
">
* Carrying out additional activities as assigned by the Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor.

* Actively supporting the Lean Laboratory program within the Microbiology Laboratory.
