The Role
Our client is seeking a professional Sales & New Business Development Manager. Relationships, sustainability, and a long-term focus are the key drivers of this growing company.
At first, you will manage existing accounts to gain a full understanding of the business. Over time, your focus will transition to key account development and new business generation across the Island of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, cultivating, maintaining, and expanding long-term relationships.
* Carry out after-sales activities, respond to customer needs, and resolve complaints.
* Actively search for and approach new customers, presenting opportunities to increase revenue and brand recognition.
* Develop relationships with large corporate accounts, offering proposals and negotiating terms.
* Work closely with sales support staff to monitor follow-up on agreements.
* Track competitor activity, customer needs, and market developments; provide insights and proposals to management.
* Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Visibility
This is a highly visible role within a leading multinational. You will report directly to the Irish Entity MD and frequently interact with both senior leadership and international colleagues. You will also represent the organisation externally at conferences and client meetings, acting as a visible ambassador of the brand.

* Proven ability to break into large-scale corporate accounts.

* Experience presenting to multinationals and selling on benefits.
* Able to work independently to achieve targets, while supported by a professional team handling sales administration.
* Dedicated, decisive, result-driven, and a strong team player.
Requirements
* Higher Vocational Education in a relevant field.
* 2–5 years' experience in a similar commercial role, ideally in a trade or industrial organisation.
* Strong networking and commercial thinking skills.
* Good Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) and CRM software experience.
* Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
