In this role, you will provide essential support for our PR efforts, helping to build and maintain a positive public image, secure media coverage, and execute strategic campaigns. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a passionate communicator to gain hands-on experience in all facets of PR.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and executing PR events and contribute to building a favourable business environment in the local and national arena.Support the development and implementation of PR strategies under the guidance of the PR Manager.Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.Plan and implement PR events, manage issues, and coordinate activities to enhance the Group image.Engage with local media outlets, manage media lists, monitor coverage, track press clippings, and compile reports.Draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, and briefing documents.Contribute content for newsletters and social media platforms.Track and analyse media coverage and PR results.Maintain and update databases of media contacts.Taking part in brainstorming sessions and suggesting innovative ideas.RequirementsStrong proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication style.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment with strong time management skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).Experience with video production and editing.Strong communication, teamwork, and presentation skills.Attention to detail.Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and methods.Working knowledge of Dropbox would be desirable, but not a pre-requisite.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on impactful PR campaigns and gain hands-on experience.Collaborative and dynamic team environment.Career growth and development opportunities within the Volunteer community.Role would be mainly virtual, with input into a sub-committee.
