Due to continued growth and increased regulatory requirements, we are seeking an experiencedBCAR Coordinatorto support project delivery and ensure full compliance with the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations.The RoleThe BCAR Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing BCAR compliance across multiple projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, design teams, Assigned Certifiers, and subcontractors.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate BCAR compliance from project commencement to completionManage and maintain BCAR documentation, including the Inspection Plan and Compliance DocumentationLiaise with Assigned Certifiers, Design Certifiers, Client Representatives, and Building Control AuthoritiesEnsure timely submission of Commencement Notices, Inspection Plans, and Completion CertificatesCoordinate and track ancillary certificates from subcontractors and designersSupport project teams in understanding BCAR obligations and documentation requirementsMaintain accurate records and BCAR trackers across all projectsIdentify and proactively resolve BCAR-related risks or gapsRequirementsStrong understanding of BCAR and Irish building control processesPrevious experience in a BCAR coordination, compliance, or project support roleExcellent organisational and document control skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projectsEffective communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholdersCompetent in Microsoft Office and document management systemsDesirableConstruction, engineering, architectural, or technical qualificationExperience in mechanical, M&E, or construction contracting environmentsFamiliarity with Assigned Certifier processes and site inspection regimesExperience working with Building Control Management Systems (BCMS)What We OfferCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceOpportunity to work on a range of commercial and industrial projectsSupportive and professional team environmentLong-term career progression within a growing companyHow to ApplyPlease submit your CV and optional cover letter, or call Padraic McDonagh HR Manager to discuss furtherDominic OConnor Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.Skillsbcar BCMS Regulatory Compliance
