Job Title: Water Network Delivery Specialist
Civil Resident Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of water network improvements. As a key member of our team, you will provide supervision and management on a programme of work to deliver new and upgrade water network improvements in Dublin. This includes overseeing projects from design to construction, working closely with contractors and local authorities, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Regional Contractors to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contracts and legislation
* Liaise with Local Authorities in delivering projects
* Conduct Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) audits and manage HSQE issues
* Process work orders and approve service requests
* Update trackers and review as-laid drawings
* Work closely with IW Design Engineers to clarify project requirements
* Address complaints and provide feedback to Regional Leads and IW
* Attend and manage meetings with Regional Contractors and IW
* Maintain accurate records and create lists of snags for completion
* Visit sites before works commence to identify potential issues and feed back findings to IW Design Engineers
Key Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in on-site supervision and site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* Ability to write clear and concise reports and maintain accurate records
* Strong knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and regulations
* Current and valid SafePass card, with Confined Spaces training desirable
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
