We currently require a full time Customer Service & Sales Agent to join our team in our head office in Milltown, Co. Galway (H54 E096). The role is well suited to applicants who have experience in either the hospitality or retail industry. The Role - Tasks involved Provide excellent customer serviceby promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing complaints in a professional and positive manner through phone, email, and in-person. Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure repeat business. Complaint Resolution Handle customer complaints with patience and professionalism, investigating and resolving issues to the customer's satisfaction while demonstrating empathy, and maintaining a positive relationship with the customer Identify when complex issues need to be escalated to appropriate departments or supervisors for further resolution. Communications Liaise and communicate with suppliers/manufacturers to build strong relationships with the suppliers/ manufacturers so they can assist in resolving customer complaints and issues. Strong communication with other departments such as sales, purchasing and warehouse. Service RequestsProcessing and logging service requests for reported faulty appliances via various electrical manufacturers. LogisticsWork with the logistics team making outbound calls to customers to co-ordinate and schedule deliveries. Communicate with the logistics team on this. Administration Maintain detailed records of customer complaints and resolutions. Undertake all necessary administration work needed by the team. Processing of faulty goods returns to suppliers in line with the company procedures. Sales Liaise with the sales team by directing and managing sales calls and emails to convert the inquiries into successful sales. Process online sales promptly for dispatch with couriers. The Ideal Candidate - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening to effectively interact with customer, team members and suppliers by both phone and email. Positive, optimistic and can-do attitude towards challenging items. Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve customer issues. Enjoy working with people. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices would be an advantage but is not essential. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively. Fluent English is required. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in a similar customer service role is essential. Leaving cert or equivalent is required.
