Job Title: Senior Leadership Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leader to join our team in overseeing the daily operations of our early years service.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Support the Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
2. Maintain relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
3. Manage child registrations and maintain records in line with Pobal and DCYA requirements.
4. Communicate effectively with families and foster an inclusive environment.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant childcare frameworks and regulations.
6. Lead quality provision and inclusive practices.
7. Mentor and support the early years team.
8. Collaborate with families and external support agencies.
9. Demonstrate understanding of child development and transitions.
10. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 6 in Childhood Care and Supervision (ideally Level 7/8 in Early Years Education).
* 23 years experience in an early years setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of ECCE, NCS, AIM funding programmes.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
