Job Description:
The primary purpose of this role is to partner with key leaders and lead the strategic sourcing team for external manufacturing. This will involve enabling the business unit's supply base to meet its needs, including strategy development, procurement process simplification, risk management, and quality assurance.

* Develop and implement a 3-5 year drug substance and product strategy focused on cost, risk, supply assurance, quality, innovation, and supplier segmentation.
* Partner with cross-functional teams, including ExM Business Units, MS&T, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance, to enhance external manufacturing processes and governance.
* Collaborate with Supplier Performance & Development and Business Continuity teams to manage risk and ensure compliance.
* Lead high-priority supplier negotiations and oversee SSP deliverables, including projections, budgets, cost standards, risk assessments, and regional procurement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 12+ years of related experience in sourcing or external manufacturing procurement for a reputable pharmaceutical company.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a leader of cross-functional teams and/or managing staff.
* Knowledge of cGMP requirements, research and development, and world-class planning and execution processes.
