The ERP Director is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across the organization. This role will oversee cross-functional teams, align ERP capabilities with business needs, and ensure that ERP solutions support organizational efficiency, scalability, and growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the organization-wide ERP strategy, including system selection, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing optimization.Collaborate with business leaders to align ERP capabilities with short- and long-term business goals.Oversee ERP project management, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.Manage vendor relationships, contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and licensing compliance.Ensure ERP systems are integrated effectively with other enterprise systems and tools.Lead and mentor ERP team members, including business analysts, developers, system administrators, and project managers.Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security in collaboration with IT and cybersecurity teams.Develop and maintain documentation, training programs, and support processes to enhance user adoption and system utilization.Stay current with ERP trends, technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations.Drive change management efforts related to ERP transformations.Qualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).8+ years of progressive experience in ERP systems management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.Proven experience with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Infor.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of ERP architecture, integrations, and data flows.Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.Familiarity with cloud ERP and digital transformation strategies.Leadership & Soft Skills:Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.Exceptional project management skills (PMP certification a plus).
