Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity
This role presents a unique chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, directly impacting the lives of service users through comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments for adults with mental health needs, encompassing various factors and complexities.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions aimed at promoting recovery, independence, and community integration.
* Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other MDT members to create and review care plans, ensuring a cohesive approach.
* Support the development of services and contribute to junior staff growth as needed.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional and service guidelines, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Be CORU registered (or eligible to register).
* Possess a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, preferably within an Adult Mental Health setting.
* Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and team-working skills, facilitating effective collaboration.
* Embody a commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred practice, prioritising the well-being of individuals.
