Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced cost accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining general ledger integrity, analyzing GL accounts, and performing monthly budget variance reviews. Additionally, they will complete monthly reconciliations, consolidate results in Oracle HFM, manage subledgers, prepare VAT returns for multiple entities act as the main VAT contact for Ireland and UK maintain accurate company accounts books records transactions assets support statutory reporting perform additional duties required
The Successful Candidate:
A strong educational background accounting finance related field relevant qualification proven expertise cost accounting experience manufacturing industry proficiency accounting software financial systems Oracle HFM ideally USGAAP Sox knowledge VAT returns excellent analytical problem-solving skills
