What you'll do
Build high-quality applications and systems as part of a motivated, collaborative team supporting AXA Ireland's IT environment
Stay adaptable and organized, comfortably balancing changing priorities and managing your own workload
Get to know AXA's IT systems, assess the impact of change, and contribute to the design of new and enhanced solutions
Create clear, high-quality technical documentation that supports your work and the wider team
Work in line with IT processes and governance, with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
What you bring
Strong experience working with Azure, including App Services, Functions, Storage, Service Bus, Key Vault, and APIM (desirable)
Practical experience integrating Large Language Models (e.g. Azure OpenAI / OpenAI) via REST APIs, including chat completions, embeddings, and function calling
Confidence in prompt design and optimization, including system prompts, orchestration, and evaluating AI output quality
Experience delivering event-driven and serverless Azure solutions, securely integrating with internal and third-party systems, and contributing to successful project delivery
A collaborative team player with a passion for CI/CD improvements (ideally Azure DevOps), security, data protection, and responsible AI in regulated environments
Preferred experience with Oracle and MuleSoft, vector search and RAG patterns, AI workload logging and monitoring, and working in insurance or other highly regulated industries
