This is an varied role providing various experience in many aspects of Health and Safety from various industries. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that the Health and Safety Department runs effectively and efficiently while also providing an essential support service to companies clients. Reviewing and updating risk assessments, method statements, and compliance documentation. Assisting in the development, monitoring, and auditing of Health & Safety procedures and policies. Keeping Safety Statements up to date and aligned with regulatory and environmental requirements. Supporting clients with accident investigations and audit preparation. Maintaining accurate records, document control, and compliance systems (including our in-house system, Leap). Staying up to date with legislation and best practice, applying knowledge to improve client outcomes. General administration to support the Health & Safety department. What we are looking for Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable manner. Organised, detail-focused, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. Confident when meeting people, whether in person or virtually. A positive, proactive, and dependable team player with a genuine appetite to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); willingness to learn new systems such as Leap Legal and Benchmark email marketing. Travel to Clients such it be necessary so a Car and full Drivers licence required. Patience with dealing with difficult clients and dependability A strong commend of the English language Qualifications Health and Safety, Environmental or other similar qualification an advantage but not essential as full training provided to role provided. A hardworking individual looking to gain experience, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job and progression will be guaranteed. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Office 365, willing to learn Leap Legal and other systems including Benchmark email Marketing.
